Friends, loved ones, and acquaintances share birth stories. These are the most momentous occasions of their lives. Birth is a moment when everything changes. A feat of incredible strength, intuition, and love, there is a beginning and an end. When the contractions subside and the doctors, nurses and support individuals leave, you hold your baby in your arms for the very first time and you are left thinking, “what in the world happens next?”

It’s a great question. And the options are limitless.

Like birth, the postpartum period is different for everyone. And yet, we are often given well-meaning and conflicting information about the “right” way of doing things. The reason for this is that there is no “right” way. There is only your baby, your family, and you. And in a way, that can be even more overwhelming. This is where Phases Postpartum Care comes in. It is my job to help you find your voice as a parent and figure out your “way,” regardless of familial expectations or social pressures.
