I am a DONA-trained postpartum Doula located in the Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago. As an an actor, nanny, teaching artist, and playgroup coordinator, I have always loved working with children and families. Upon moving to Chicago in 2018, I decided to begin my postpartum doula journey. It felt like the natural next step for me as a caregiver and a creative, but it was not until my DONA training that my eyes were opened to the absolute necessity of present, radical postpartum support for every family, regardless of background or socioeconomic status and in spite of societal pressure for parents to go it alone.

Whether it’s the freedom of experimenting with breastfeeding positions, the convenience of setting up household changing stations, the relief of having a moment to take a shower, or the comfort of venting to a sympathetic ear, I hope to teach parents that accepting the help they need and deserve will only increase their confidence and joy on their journey through the fourth trimester. I truly believe that food is love I am particularly passionate about postpartum nutrition and nourishment.
